Privacy Policy

SurePace (“SurePace,” “we,” “us”) helps you scope commitments, forecast realistic finish dates, and schedule work against your calendar. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SurePace you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information to create and secure your account.
- Google Calendar data. With your permission, we access your Google Calendar to read availability (free/busy), and to create and manage a dedicated “Commitments” calendar with work blocks and deadline markers that SurePace generates.
- Commitment data. Information you enter — commitments, scopes, estimates, hours logged, and related notes.
- Technical data. Standard log data (such as IP address and request metadata) used to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
- Provide the core service: forecasting, scheduling, and reporting.
- Create and update calendar events on your behalf when you accept or change a commitment.
- Read your free/busy times to price new work against real capacity.
- Secure your account and improve reliability.
Google user data & Limited Use
SurePace’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google Calendar data only to provide and improve the SurePace features you request; we do not use it for advertising; we do not sell it; we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the service, for security and legal reasons, or with your consent; and we do not allow humans to read it unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run SurePace (for example, cloud hosting and infrastructure on Google Cloud), under obligations of confidentiality, or when required by law.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect Google access at any time from your Google Account permissions, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. Calendar events SurePace created remain in your Google Calendar unless you remove them.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices
- Revoke SurePace’s calendar access from your Google Account at any time.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
Children
SurePace is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
